徐扬生

徐扬生，1958年4月7日出生于浙江绍兴，空间机器人与智能控制专家，中国工程院院士、中国人工智能学会首批会士，香港中文大学自动化与计算机辅助工程学讲座教授。 [1-2] 
1982年和1984年分别取得浙江大学学士及硕士学位，并于1989年获美国宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。1989年至1997年间，任美国卡内基梅隆大学计算机学院机器人研究所研究员。1997年起任教于香港中文大学，担任机械与自动化工程学系系主任至2004年，2011年开始担任香港中文大学副校长，现兼任中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院副院长。 [3] 
2013年7月获聘为香港中文大学（深圳）首任校长，任期4年。
2017年7月，获得香港中文大学（深圳）理事会续聘，任期至2021年。 [4] 
2019年2月，担任电子科技大学卫星产业技术研究院名誉院长、学术委员会主任。 [5]

1982年，获得浙江大学学士学位。
1984年，获得浙江大学硕士学位。
1989年，获得美国宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。
1989年至1997年，担任美国卡耐基梅隆大学计算机学院机器人研究所研究员，领域为空间机器人研究。
1997年，赴香港香港中文大学任教。
1997年至2004年，担任香港中文大学自动化系系主任。
1998年至2004年，徐扬生是香港研究资助局工程组成员。
2001年，当选国际欧亚科学院院士。
2003年，当选IEEE Fellow。 [5] 
2003年至2006年，出任香港生产力促进局董事。
2004年至2006年，担任中国国家高科技航天航空领域委员会顾问。
2006年至2008年，担任香港中文大学校长助理。

徐扬生院士 徐扬生院士
徐扬生长期从事机器人与智能控制系统研究，在空间机器人的设计、控制及动力学研究，以及无重力地面试验设施的研制等方面作出了重要贡献。他致力于推动我国航天智能控制技术的发展，提出并参与了有关航天智能系统的研制。同时，他对动态稳定系统的控制、人类控制策略的自动建模、穿戴式智能人机界面、以及全方位混合动力汽车等进行了深入研究和系统开发。发表论文270多篇、专著3部、编著1部。 [6]

徐教授热心服务社会并积极参与专业活动，曾任香港生产力促进局董事（2003-2006），香港研究资助局工程组成员（1998-2004），中国国家高科技航天航空领域委员会顾问（2004-2006），中国自动化学会理事（2002至今），国际欧亚科学院院士（2001至今），国际宇航科学院通讯院士（2007至今），IEEE Fellow（2003至今），IEEE机器人与自动化学报副主编（1997-2000），及深圳市决策咨询委员会顾问（2008至今）。

徐扬生人物故事

徐扬生出生于上世纪50年代浙江绍兴的一个书香家庭。高中毕业后，经历了两年的知青生活。1977年恢复高考，被浙江大学录取。7年后，到美国留学，获得宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。随后在卡内基梅隆大学任教并从事机器人研究，事业如日中天 [7]  。
经历过改革开放、香港回归、海外求学、香港治学的徐扬生具有浓厚的家国情怀和对大学教育的反思，立志在中国本土办一所世界一流的大学。在徐扬生的动员和努力下，2014年香港中文大学（深圳）正式设立。 [8]
